This week has gone by fast and now everyone keeps telling me that I have less than 20 weeks left in the mission.... wow that is crazy! I hope that these 20 weeks go by super slow!
As I mentioned in my last post, my companion and I are focusing on teaching and finding families. This week we found 2 more complete families to teach! This adds up to 5 complete families that we are teaching. Just imagine if one decides to get baptized!
Elder Navarro and I have been busy preparing Dani for his baptism on the 14th, and all is going well. Also Roxana, Jenny´s sister, told us that she wants to be baptized. So we are now trying to help her find a new job so she doesn't have to work on Sundays.
I think that something great is in store for Hector. As we visited him this week he told us that his daughter, who is 9 years old, had a talk with his wife. She asked, "Mommy why do you get mad at Daddy when he goes to church with the Mormons? When he goes to church he is happier and nicer, and Daddy never gets mad at you when you go to your church in Xela." It took the words of the daughter, for the mom, Chewy, to realize what she had done. She told Hector that he could choose whichever church he wanted to attend and that she would try to support him. For me, that was a miracle. We are now back on the path to preparing Hector for his baptism. I would like to thank you for all your prayers for Hector. The church is true! This is the Lord's work and His glory and if we have faith like Ammon, He will prepare the people to hear and accept His gospel.
