This has been a great week of progress for our investigators!
On Tuesday, we had another leadership meeting in Xela! President Smith talked a lot about the importance of working with the ward council and learning to work with the ward mission leader. It was something that the missionaries haven't been doing so well, so it was good to learn more about it and then teach our zone in the zone meeting we had Wednesday.
We finished teaching everything to Dani and planned his baptism for this Saturday at 10:00 a.m.! We also invited Hector, Roxana, and our other investigators to the baptism so they can feel the spirit and see how it's done. I think that having them there, and witnessing a baptism will really help them with their own choice to be baptized.
This week we also celebrated Elder Navarros birthday! He turned 21, which also means that he is almost finished with his mission. This will be my last week with Elder Navarro, but we will have the blessing to baptize the last weekend of his mission! I’m grateful for the opportunity I have had to be on a mission. I feel like I’ve matured a lot, received a testimony, and gained a huge knowledge about the gospel. It will be fun to talk about the gospel when I get home. The church is true!
