A new companion and working hard

Hola Familia!

The start of this week was pretty sad as I helped Elder Navarro pack his bags and say goodbye to everyone. Especially after we have been together for four-and-a-half months! But I dropped him off at the terminal on Tuesday and picked up my new companion, Elder Mendoza.

Elder Mendoza is from Ecuador and has been on his mission for one year. I will be training him as a zone leader and yes, I will be in San Juan another change, which means that when I leave that I will have been here for seven-and-a-half months! It is pretty funny, because the assistants have already promised me that for sure the next transfer, that I will have changes.

This week Elder Mendoza and I have been working really hard. We have been focusing on having more members come with us to the lessons and inviting every person to be baptized on the first lesson. So this week we invited 13 people to be baptized, and every single one said yes.

Other than that, all has been good this week.......until today, when I received my departure plan that I had to fill out so they can buy my plane tickets. I'm not going to lie, it made me a little trunky haha! The Church is true and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and for the opportunity to give all my time and effort to Him!
